Our Services
The garden maintenance service we provide caters to all aspects of you and your garden’s needs. For example this could include lawn and hedge cutting, shrub shaping, weeding and planting to name a few. We offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly visits. Alternatively if there is a one off job that needs doing, we would also be happy to help.
Our landscaping service provides you with an expert range of exterior work, this includes turfing, patios, fencing and pergolas.
We specialise in one aspect in particular however, this being repointing. This keeping your existing patio, removing the initial pointing and in turn replacing this with an ultra high strength epoxy paving grout. We do this as a more cost effective alternative to you having a new patio space created.
Whether it is a new garden space or project you’re after or maybe you just need some refurbishment on your existing patio, we can help you.
As well as providing general garden and landscaping work, we can also complete more seasonal jobs such as -
Pressure Washing - Whether it is sandstone, porcelain, limestone or block paving, we have experience in cleaning all types of patios or drives for you, this even includes resin driveways.
Chemical Treatments - This could be for example as a one off treatment of blackspot on your Indian sandstone patio or a pre and post biocide clean for your resin drive, whatever it may be, we can offer a range of soft wash chemicals and treatments for you.
Gutter Work- Our work involves clearing and cleaning gutters in order to improve your property’s aesthetic as well as preventing water damage, leaks and rainflow issues.

About
The Company
My name is Dan Hartley, I am the owner of DJH Exteriors Ltd. I started my gardening journey in April 2020 when I was 18 years old.
Due to my dad working with my godfather who was a gardener, I decided to help with one off jobs which progressed into regular customers around my local area. As a result a gardener in my village asked me if I would like to buy his round of 8 customers from him due to him wanting to retire, so from April to mid June I worked side by side with him to learn the basics, whilst at home I would be reading gardening books and articles along with watching YouTube videos to give me a base knowledge to work with.
I then went from just lawn cutting for my 8 customers, to weeding, planting and hedge cutting which made this round of mine grow from 8 to 50 fairly quickly. However today alongside my 2 subcontractors, we look after over 100 customers on a regular basis, covering areas mainly in the Wetherby, Collingham, Boston Spa and Linton area but also have travelled to jobs in Sheffield and Yarm to name a few.
We provide a reliable, quality and attentive service to all customers we work for. With this, my aim is to be known as the one of the best exterior companies in the local area, where people feel comfortable and assured enough to use us for their own garden projects as well as recommending us to friends and family.
